By creating an account or using the TaxMind Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Accounts must be created by individuals at least 18 years of age and used only for lawful purposes.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled in advance. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellations take effect at the end of the current period.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or under our published refund policy. Pricing changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to reverse-engineer the platform, circumventing security controls, accessing data you are not authorized to access, or using the Services to violate applicable law.

TaxMind retains all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including all software, models, and documentation. You retain ownership of your customer data and grant TaxMind a limited license to process it solely to provide the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxMind's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the production platform. Maintenance windows are announced in advance through our status page. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Services ceases and we will delete personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Stockholm unless a binding consumer protection rule provides otherwise.
